Do I need an appointment?

Yes, please — Carol’s is by appointment only so that Jen can give you her complete, private attention. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday. Call 435-688-0452, email Jen@carolsutah.com, or book online.

Does insurance cover breast forms and bras?

In most cases, yes. Many private insurance plans cover post-mastectomy breast prostheses (forms) and mastectomy bras when prescribed. Coverage amounts and how often items can be replaced vary by plan. Bring your prescription and insurance information to your appointment and we’ll help you understand your specific benefits before anything is ordered.

Do I need a prescription?

For insurance to help pay, a prescription from your doctor for a “breast prosthesis and post-mastectomy bras” is usually required. If you don’t have one yet, come in anyway — we can talk through what you’ll need and help you get set up.

How often can I get a new breast form or bras?

Most plans allow replacement of a silicone breast form and a certain number of mastectomy bras on a regular schedule. The exact timing depends on your insurance. We’ll help you keep track and let you know when you’re eligible for new items.

What should I bring to my fitting?

A prescription (if you have one), your insurance card, and a comfortable, easy-to-change top. That’s it — Jen takes care of the rest. You’re welcome to bring a friend or family member for support.

I had a lumpectomy or reconstruction, not a full mastectomy. Can you still help?

Absolutely. We fit partial shapers and enhancers for lumpectomy, reconstruction, implant removal, and uneven breasts — anything that helps you feel balanced and comfortable.

Do you fit lymphedema compression sleeves and gloves?

Yes. Jen is certified in fitting lymphedema products and carries graduated-compression sleeves, gauntlets, and gloves from Juzo. Proper measurement matters a great deal with compression, and she’ll make sure yours fits and supports you well.

How long does an appointment take?

Plan for about an hour. Your time is never rushed — a good fitting is worth doing carefully, and we want you to leave feeling confident and cared for.

Is this website an online store?

No. Carol’s is a fitting specialist and reseller. The products here are a browsable showcase so you can see what we carry — the fitting and ordering happen in person with Jen, where we can make sure everything is exactly right for you.

Insurance details differ from plan to plan. The notes above are general guidance — we’ll always verify your specific coverage with you. Questions? Call435-688-0452.
