Sharon Carol Stenquist

October 8th, 1941- October 2nd, 2011

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacfully
October 2, 2011 with her family by her side after battling Leukemia
for over four years.  Sharon Carol Stenquist born October 8, 1941
to Richard and Edna Motzkus, is a woman who touched many lives.
Dealing with cancer has been part of her life for over three decades.
Carol has owned her own mastectomy shop in Salt Lake City for over thirty years. She has been a blessed individual and helped many women fighting breast
cancer. Carol has always thought of others and tried to help them see the positive things in
life and laugh a lot. She was extremely generous and loved to serve. She loved traveling and
was very adventuresome. Her last adventure happened to be at the Olympic Park Zipline in
Park City just one month ago. As she set off she yelled, "Take this Cancer"! Special thanks
to all that helped her through her ordeal especially the doctors and nurses at LDS Hospital
8th floor. They are all angels in our eyes.
She is survived by her loving husband Gary, her four children; Mike (Kelly), Bob (Shellie),
Heidi (Scott), Jennifer (Joel), and thirteen grandchildren. We love you grandma Carol.
